1.8 inch Colour TFT Screen

The backlit 1.8-inch screen is easy-to-read, and helps navigate through the simple menu clearly. The TFT (thin film transistor) LCD lets you see both characters and colour images with a GSM-like clarity that wasn't possible with conventional STN (super-twisted nematic) displays.

250 Name and Number Phonebook

Up to 250 names and phone numbers can be entered and stored. The phonebook allows you to make calls without having to dial manually. You simply search for the name and select the number you want to dial.

12 Hours Talk Time / 250 Hours Standby Time

One full charge of the battery will provide about 12 hours of talking time before the battery will need re-charging. When the handset is not being used but left off the base station, the charge will be retained for up to 250 hours before requiring a recharge.

Visual Message List / Caller ID

When a caller leaves you a message, the handset can display the caller's details in a list. This allows you to skip to particular messages by selecting the caller's details from the list on screen. Caller ID is a subscription service offered by many telephone service providers. When an outside call is being received, the caller information is displayed. Caller information for the last 50 callers is logged in the caller list from the most recent call to the oldest. Incoming Call Barring feature allows the unit to reject calls from specified phone numbers that you do not want to answer such as junk calls. *Requires subscription to a Caller ID service.

Talking Caller ID

Announces who is calling so you don't even have to look at the LCD. The name of the caller is announced when someone calls. When you cannot reach your phone or when you're busy and can't see the screen, the name of the caller will be verbally announced. *Requires subscription to a Caller ID service.

SMS Text Compatible

SMS allows you to send and receive short text messages (160 characters max') between other fixed-line and mobile phones that support compatible SMS networks and features. *Requires subscription to Caller ID and / or SMS service offered by your telephone company.

Baby Monitor

Lets you know when the baby starts crying, even from another room. This can provide peace of mind for busy parents. When activated, the handset will capture the baby's crying voice and the sound will be heard on a handset in another room.

Off to bed or need to put the baby to sleep? Now its simple to set times when you don't want the phone to ring so you will never be disturbed. Instead the handset will flash silently.

If you like to keep your phone in the bedroom there is no need for a separate alarm clock. The Panasonic alarm function lets you set a different wake-up time for each day, and the Snooze function sounds the alarm every 5 minutes.

Expandable - Up To Six Handsets

For large houses or large families you can add additional handsets. Up to six handsets (available to purchase separately) can be paired to the master base unit allowing every family member to have their own handset or allowing handsets to be placed conveniently around the home in different rooms.
